Who we are

Back in 2019 travel writer Mr. Elly Tumwesiga had a vision. “Uganda Safari Experience” was created to promote Uganda further as a leading travel destination in East Africa. Furthermore to highlight the best places to visit in Uganda. The most prominent and some still hidden places alike.

In the beginning of 2022, this project was relaunched under the name Uganda Safari Travel Guide. A true online Travel Guide for the traveler. Which is carefully crafted and further developed day by day. By a team of Ugandan Travel writers. Uganda Safari Travel Guide is an independent editorial platform dedicated to providing trusted, experience-driven travel insights about Uganda and the wider East African region.

Our Mission

Our mission at the Uganda Safari Travel Guide is to create a powerful online platform to promote Uganda further as a top travel destination of East Africa. In particular to inspire our readers and help travelers explore Uganda with clarity, confidence, and deeper understanding. From mountain gorilla trekking and national parks to travel logistics and conservation stories, we aim to provide accurate, thoughtful, and practical information grounded in local knowledge.
